Our Story
Every journey has a beginning.
For RIFFKOR, that beginning wasn't a business plan or a product.
It was a feeling.
Long before the first piece of apparel was designed, there was a deep connection between music and movement. Running became more than exercise. Music became more than entertainment. Together, they became a source of resilience, focus, and purpose.
In 2018, that feeling took shape on a simple piece of scrap paper.
What emerged was the RK Symbol.
It wasn't created to follow trends or resemble anything else. It became the visual expression of everything RIFFKOR would eventually stand for.
Years later, that symbol became the foundation of a brand.
RIFFKOR officially launched in August 2025 with a simple vision: create authentic performance apparel inspired by the strength that exists within every person.
Today, RK continues to evolve, but its foundation remains unchanged.
Every product, every conversation, every event, and every step forward begins with that same belief.
The RK Symbol
The RK Symbol is more than a logo.
It is the foundation of RIFFKOR.
It represents a journey that began long before the first piece of apparel was ever created.
Born from a deep connection between music and movement, the symbol emerged as a visual expression of resilience, focus, perseverance, and inner strength. It was never designed to follow trends or fit within a particular style. It came from a feeling, one that words alone could never fully describe.
Its sharp lines reflect clarity of purpose.
Its bold form reflects the determination to keep moving forward.
Its meaning, however, is never fixed.
Every person who encounters the RK Symbol is free to interpret it through their own experiences. To one person it may represent overcoming adversity. To another, the pursuit of a dream. To someone else, the quiet strength to simply take the next step.
There is no single correct interpretation.
If the symbol evokes a feeling...
If it reminds you of your own resilience...
If it inspires you to continue your journey...
Then it has already fulfilled its purpose.
We don't wear the RK Symbol to show the world who we are.
We wear it as a reminder of who we strive to become.
Our Why
At RIFFKOR, we believe every person possesses an inner strength capable of carrying them through life's greatest challenges. We believe everyone possesses an inner light, an inner core piece, that can be ignited.
Our purpose is to inspire people to discover, strengthen, and believe in that resilience.
We believe that inner strength is built through perseverance, movement, purpose, and the courage to keep moving forward, especially when life becomes difficult.
That belief influences everything we create.
It guides the products we design.
It shapes the stories we share.
It inspires the community we hope to build.
When someone wears the RK Symbol, we hope it reminds them of something greater than the apparel itself.
We hope it reminds them of the strength they already carry within.
Supporting Mental Health
Our commitment to mental health isn't a marketing initiative.
It's part of who we are and where we came from.
Many struggle because several pieces of themselves are either broken or missing inside. RIFFKOR is committed to helping EVERYONE find, build and re-build these missing pieces.
Our products are more than just gear. They are tools for mindfulness and empowerment.
That is why a portion of proceeds from RK sales is donated to support the important work of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).
By supporting mental health initiatives, we hope to encourage greater awareness, meaningful conversations, and a stronger community where people feel empowered to seek help when they need it.
Strength isn't about pretending everything is okay.
Strength is choosing to keep moving forward.
